Fall Sweep has officially wrapped for the 2023 season, and while the wrap-up reports trickle in, we love hearing about your results!
As many folks have learned from experience, you often run into things you don’t expect while out cleaning up your communities. Here is a list of some of the most unusual items that your groups found while out in the field.
Can’t Get Away From the Office
- Decator: A laptop inside of a shredder
- Aransas County: An office chair found floating in the bay
- Levelland: A tablet
- Nolanville: Porcelain toilet on the side of the road
Now, How Did THAT Get Here?
- Missouri City: Part of a USPS mailbox
- Lewisville: Two foot tall Pokémon Squirtle Toy
- Whitehouse: 75 full bottles of Modelo beer
- League City: Basketball backboard found in a creek
- Fulshear: Out of state license plate
- Weston Lakes: A dumbbell
Creepy Vibes
- Haltom City: Intact raccoon skull
- Polk County: Rubber lizard with human appendages
- Gun Barrel City: A Texas driver’s license
Lost and Found
- Pearland: Plastic dinosaur toy
- Burleson: A full-sized grill and smoker
- Plainview: A guitar
- Jones Creek Beautification Committee: A kitten!
