Great participation from the Henderson community! Several student organizations from the High School volunteered, and local civic clubs cleaned their Adopt-a-Highway sections.

Keep Weatherford Beautiful’s Don’t mess With Texas® Trash-off event is a fun competition where they break up the participants into teams of 10 to see which team can gather the most litter. The event typically brings together roughly 100 citizens of all ages and sizes and collects over 70 bags of trash.

San Angelo’s Don’t mess With Texas® Trash-off was an incredible success with a 250% increase over last year. 175 volunteers collected 210 bags of trash–that’s  2,700 pounds collected from San Angelo’s roadways and waterways.
