Keep Midlothian Beautiful Earth Day New Park Preparation

This is part of KMB’s 3 part series for Keep America Beautiful Month. These two Monday events (April 15 & 29th) will help prepare the new park for ribbon cutting and visitors. We will be picking up trash around the lake and seeding it with Native Texas and Lady Bird Legacy Mixes, as well as installing fishing line recycling centers and Don’t Mess with Texas Signs.

Please know that this park is new and parking is at Jean Coleman Elementary where you will then walk over. There is no up-close parking and all tools will need to be brought in by hand or cart.

There is no minimum age to attend, but account holders must be 13 years old to register with POINT. Please bring your children. We will sign off on any organizational volunteer hours as well.
