Fort Parker State Park’s Limestone Bluffs Paddling Trail Clean-up

Got a kayak or canoe? Committed to keeping Texas waterways trash-free? Enjoy a morning on the water at Fort Parker State Park in Mexia, TX (about 45min from Waco/Corsicana) and help keep the Limestone Bluffs Paddling Trail trash-free. The Limestone Bluffs Paddling Trail is a 5.3mile (one-way) trail between Fort Parker State Park and the Confederate Reunion Grounds. This peaceful paddling trail on the Navasota River will also take you through a portion of Fort Parker Lake. Don’t want to paddle the whole 10.6 miles? Arrange for a driver to pick you up at the Confederate Union Grounds or simply turn around when you get tired. The Navasota River is known for having little current.
