Grand Prairie Adopt-a-Cemetery, Vernoy Cemetery

The Vernoy Cemetery is located within a gated community at 3732 Boxwood Drive in Grand Prairie. Please use the entrance off S Carrier Pkwy and E Crossland.

Volunteers will be collecting fallen brush and raking leaves from this historic cemetery and loading it into a trailer for removal. The brush will be ground into mulch at the landfill and the leaves will be composted at a community garden.

Volunteers are asked to wear long pants and layers appropriate for weather, close-toe shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
