Keep Texas Beautiful is excited to announce an upcoming, in-person regional training in San Antonio! This is a great time to learn from and network with area Keep Texas Beautiful affiliates and recycling partners.

“Howdy, Partners!” Welcome & Introductions
Kick off the day by meeting fellow affiliates, KTB staff, and community leaders. Get ready for a day full of ideas, collaboration, and Texas-sized inspiration.

“What’s in the Bag?” Litter Sample Demonstration
See how to collect, categorize, and record litter data for your community using KTB tools. Hands-on learning that turns trash into insight!
11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
“Keep Texas Beautiful 101”
A crash course in all things KTB—programs, resources, and ways affiliates can amplify their local impact through statewide initiatives.

“Lunch & Learn” Networking Lunch
Grab a bite and connect with fellow attendees. Share wins, swap ideas, and meet new collaborators over lunch. Learn more about the Governor’s Community Achievement Awards, grant opportunities, and creative local programs.

Explore how affiliates can boost engagement through better outreach, storytelling, and visuals. Includes templates, peer sharing, and interactive discussion.

A short skills-based session on an emerging topic—details to come!

“Flow with Us” Optional Tour of Confluence Park
Wrap up the day with a guided tour of Confluence Park, exploring San Antonio’s sustainable design and river restoration efforts.

Due to a change in TxDOT funding, the regional training will cost $20 per person to attend. Please reach out to programs@ktb.org if you need to pay by check instead of credit card.
