City of Mansfield’s Day of Service
Join us for a meaningful morning of service as we come together to honor the September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance! We’re inviting everyone in the community to participate in a day filled with giving back and showing appreciation to those who serve us every day.
- Community Cleanup: Let’s roll up our sleeves and work together to keep our neighborhoods clean and beautiful. We’ll be picking up litter and doing our part to preserve the beauty of our local environment. If you have a litter grabber at home, we recommend that you bring it. Our grabbers will only be available while supplies last. We also recommend that participants of the community cleanup wear closed-toed shoes and bring water bottles, insect repellant, and sunscreen to the event.
- Cards for First Responders: Throughout the event, there will be tables set up where you can take a moment to create and decorate cards for our local first responders. This is a wonderful opportunity to express our gratitude and brighten the day of those who work tirelessly to keep us safe.
Date: September 14
Time: 9-11 A.M.
Location: Katherine Rose Memorial Park
This is a family-friendly event, so bring your friends, kids, and neighbors! All supplies for the cleanup and card-making will be provided. Register at the link to help us plan the amount of supplies to bring. Let’s make a positive impact in our community and show our appreciation for our first responders. We can’t wait to see you there!
