“Though the word beautification makes the concept sound merely cosmetic, it involves much more: clean water, clean air, clean roadsides, safe waste disposal and preservation of valued old landmarks as well as great parks and wilderness areas. To me … beautification means our total concern for the physical and human quality we pass on to our children and the future.”

- Lady Bird Johnson

    Webinar: Intro to KTB

02-19-2020 12:30 pm -1:30 pm Join this webinar to learn all about Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB) programs and resources for communities all across the state. KTB is a community improvement nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire and empower Texans to keep our communities clean and beautiful. We do that by providing resources and programs on litter prevention and cleanups, solid waste management and recycling, and beautification. We have a network of around 300 affiliates (community groups working on these issues) and communities who are interested in becoming KTB affiliates work with KTB staff to complete the process. This webinar, conducted by KTB Program Director Sara Nichols, will lead communities through what resources KTB provides to affiliates, as well as the process of becoming an affiliate. If you're interested in becoming a KTB affiliate, or just need a refresher on what the benefits of KTB affiliation are, this is the webinar for you!
