Webinar: Leave No Trace, The Rotten Truth About Trash

Join the Leave No Trace Center For Outdoor Ethics for this virtual workshop that will cover the 7 principles of the Leave No Trace program for responsible outdoor enjoyment. This introductory course will provide an overview of Leave No Trace principles (with an emphasis on the principle "dispose of waste properly") that protect the outdoors while minimizing our impacts to the land, soil, vegetation, water, wildlife, cultural resources and other visitors. This workshop will also provide guidelines to practice, promote and share regardless of if your community has adventurers exploring the backcountry, frontcountry, local parks, or natural areas. The Leave No Trace trainers will also provide more information on programs and resources of the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics and ways to get involved, as well as recommendations to keep our communities and outdoor spaces safe and healthy during COVID-19.
