Grand Lakes Litter Pickup

Meet at Alexander Elementary. Please arrive promptly at 8:45 so we can give the safety briefing, instructions, and distribute materials.

Participation is open to individuals, families (see age guidelines below), and scout groups. Please sign up for an area to help cleanup using the Sign-up Genius link. Participating scouts will receive a “Don’t Mess with Texas” patch.

“All children must be supervised. The suggested ratio is at least one supervisor for every three children under age 15. At least one adult must be present for minors ages 15 to 18. Volunteers should wear long pants, light or bright shirts that are visible to traffic, close-toed shoes, and sun protection (e.g. hat, sunscreen). We also recommend you bring a full water bottle for hydration.

We will conclude our event back at Alexander Elementary with a snack and some drinks to celebrate all your hard work!
