Operation Clean Duncanville
Operation Clean Duncanville is two events in one: a Community Litter Clean Up and a Donate/Recycle/Shred/Dump event for residents looking to dispose of various items around the house. Community Litter Clean Up - Help us clean up Duncanville by volunteering for the annual clean up event! Volunteers will meet at the Armstrong Park pavilion at 8 am where groups will be sent to various sites around the city to pick up trash and debris. Afterward everyone will come back to Armstrong Park where lunch will be served to all volunteers. For more information, contact Timothy Hamilton at 972-780-5072.
Donate/Recycle/Shred/Dump (Stations located along James Collins Blvd) - Various vendors will be on-site to collect unwanted items, including Goodwill, Document Shredding Services, Electronics Recycling, Dumpsters for bulky items and a City Brush Truck for brush disposal. Document shredding is limited to three boxes/bags per vehicle and there is a charge of $1 per inch for tube-style televisions. FREE to residents; bring driver's license or utility bill.
