SUMMARY:Rainwater Harvesting Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Fort Bend Master Gardeners in conjunction with Missouri City Green and Missouri City Parks and Recreation, will present a workshop on installing a rainwater harvesting system for the backyard of a family home. Rainwater harvesting focuses on capturing rainwater from your roof and diverting it to irrigate plants and vegetables.\n​The cost of the workshop is $40 per registrant which includes one FREE 50-gallon rain barrel to take home.  Accompanying family members may attend for free.  No refunds will be given for cancellations.\nPre-registration is required and the class is limited to the first 33 registrants.  No registration on the day of the event.  The class is open to all, not just Missouri City residents.\n
