DESCRIPTION:Back for a second year, Less Littered Longview is Keep Longview Beautiful’s month-long social media challenge designed to transform digital engagement into real-world environmental action. Every day in May, KLB will pick up one piece of litter for each reaction (like, love, etc.) on the previous day’s video post on Facebook and Instagram. The more you engage, the more we clean!\nEach cleanup will be featured in a short video filmed by a different community volunteer—ranging from local businesses and nonprofits to city leaders and youth. This creative, community-powered initiative raises awareness about litter prevention, inspires civic pride, and encourages sustainable habits across Longview.\nIn 2024, this campaign removed nearly 3,000 pieces of litter and contributed to a dramatic drop in the city’s litter index score—from 2.69 to 1.7. The 2025 campaign will continue that momentum with new partners, bigger goals, and a deeper focus on community education and accessibility.\nLike. Share. Engage.
