DESCRIPTION:Hey Lamar County, let’s clean up all those old tires laying around! On June 24th, Keep Paris Beautiful/Make Lamar County Shine will partner with the Lamar County Commissioners for our annual Tire Collection Day. Lamar County residents are encouraged to gather old tires, and drop them off starting at 8 am at 220 North Main Street. Volunteers will unload the tires for you. Only personal car/ATV/pickup tires will be accepted. No 18 wheeler or tractor tires will be accepted, and no commercial dealers will be allowed to participate. Collection starts at 8 am, and will go until all the trailers are full, so come early. Thank you to Ark-Tex Council of Governments for their Community Cleanup Grant which made this event possible.
