( https://ktb.org/our-work/great-american-cleanup ) Together, we can help clear Texas roadsides of litter!\nThe Don’t mess with Texas® Trash-Off is part of Texas Department of Transportation’s ( http://www.txdot.gov/ ) litter prevention program, which includes Don’t mess with Texas® ( https://www.txdot.gov/about/campaigns-outreach/dont-mess-with-texas.html ), and Adopt-a-Highway ( https://www.txdot.gov/about/campaigns-outreach/adopt-a-highway.html ). Groups cleaning up TxDOT-maintained roadways are eligible to receive cleanup supplies. Kits include trash bags, disposable gloves, hand sanitizer, and more. All groups requesting supplies commit to sharing their cleanup data at the Texas Litter Database ( https://www.txlitter.org ).\nYou must request supplies at least 3 weeks in advance of your event.
