Youth & Educator Awards
The KTB Youth & Educator Awards honor extraordinary people working to improve and beautify their communities. Awards are given in a number of categories, to elementary through college-level youth as well as educators and youth organizers.
Applications for the 2010 Youth & Educator Awards have been reviewed and a complete list of winners is posted under 'related items.' KTB would like to thank all who applied and/or nominated others, and extend a heartfelt congratulations to those who won!
Winners will be recognized at the Youth & Educator Awards ceremony, scheduled for Wednesday, June 23 at 9:30 a.m. at the AT&T Conference Center. The ceremony is part of our 43rd Annual Conference; for more information on attending, please click here.
Ruthe Jackson Youth Leadership Awards
This honor recognizes outstanding efforts made by youth whose accomplishments are bringing about cleaner, more beautiful campuses, parks and communities, thus making Texas a better place to live. A $100 cash prize is presented to the first place winner.
Sadie Ray Graff Awards
This honor recognizes those in the field of education who encourage or demonstrate efforts to promote the KTB mission through environmental education. A $100 cash prize is presented to the first place winners.
