Keep America Beautiful’s GAC is the nation’s largest community improvement program, and takes place annually from March 1 through May 31. Activities can include beautifying parks and recreation areas, cleaning waterways, handling recycling collections, picking up litter, removing graffiti, planting trees and conducting educational programs and litter-free events -- anything that keeps our community beautiful! In 2009, more than 72,000 volunteers picked up 8 million pounds of litter to help keep our state beautiful.

There are three easy ways you can get involved!

1. Find an event already scheduled near you.

2. Contact your community affiliate to learn about local activities.

3. Register your own activity! Please note: you must have an account to register your event online. If you have an account on www.ktb.org, go to the "My Account" page, then select "Event Registration" on the LEFT navigation bar.  If you do not have an account, click here to Create one now!
